Guenther Wachsmuth
The author, Guenther Wachsmuth (1893-1963) was for a time Rudolf Steiner's personal assistant, a member of the Executive Council and leader of the Science Section at the Goetheanum, headquarters for the General Anthroposophic Society. This is the first English language edition of the work originally published in German under the title "Die Atherischen Bildekräfte in Kosmos, Erde und Mencsh," in which Wachsmuth explores Steiner's concept of "Ether" - the relationship between the natural and spiritual sciences, what might now be termed the sacred geometry of nature, etc. Although the title-page states "Volume 1" - and further volumes were intended, this was in fact all published.
